With her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a soon-to-be-completed Educational Doctorate in Applied Psychology & Human Development, Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto, Bernadette brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.

Bernadette has worked in a variety of settings, including Pine River, a residential treatment program, private practice, and a school board, giving her a unique perspective on the many challenges life can throw our way. Her experience also extends to non-clinical settings where she supported adult personal and professional development.

Bernadette takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as ACT, CBT, DBT, EFT, and Family Systems to tailor her approach to each client's unique needs and personal journey. She understands that life doesn’t always go the way we want it to, throwing difficult and painful challenges our way. But with a combination of courage and support, we can find our path and start walking along it — and she’s here to guide you along the way.

Working collaboratively with her clients, Bernadette strives to cultivate their inner wisdom and help them identify goals that will guide their work together. She listens deeply as she collaborates with her clients, ensuring that they always feel heard, understood, and valued.

Aside from being a committed therapist, Bernadette is also a mother of two teenagers and an avid reader who enjoys running small distances. She's a lifelong learner committed to bringing more joy into people's lives and reducing suffering.
