Dr. Adrienne Blacklock is a Clinical and School Psychologist who has developed a unique approach to therapy that centers on building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients. With years of training and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, Dr. Blacklock has honed her skills in assessment and therapy. Her work involves helping clients overcome a wide range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Dr. Blacklock's therapeutic orientation is primarily based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), with a focus on integrating Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) strategies like emotion regulation and mindfulness techniques. She also utilizes Motivational Interviewing (MI) tools to help clients assess their readiness for change and promote their confidence in making the desired changes.

Beyond her therapeutic orientation, Dr. Blacklock believes in the importance of creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings. Her goal is to make meaningful connections with the people she works with and to help them navigate the challenges of life.
